Today I had lunch with Karen Young and her head of maintenance. They manage 17 buildings that take in the cities homeless. They donated some big public walls to me. This is a huge subject of inspiration for me living in Vancouver.
On the opposite side of the spectrum I got a call from the care taker of the water front property between Kits Beach and MacDonald about doing murals right on the water. They want to involve the art and graffiti community.
Wednesday night is swag night so 6 artists will be painting live at the cobalt 9-12. Its the place to be on wednesday night. All the art is raffled off so you have a chance to win some big time art.
