I hung this painting over the posters and was going to paint all the posters bright green and blue during the Main street car free days but someone really did not like the subject in the art and took down the painting the night before. The next week the tar sands pipeline was approved by the Canadian government.

A great photographer has given me permission to use his pics. He did a series of portraits bringing attention to woman in the east side. I think it's important to paint it.
